Together with my research team, I was selected through a public procurement to conduct an evaluation of the Roma in European Societies Initiative in 2021. VELUX Foundations, Open Society Foundations-Roma Initiative Office (OSF – RIO), and the Roma Educational Fund (REF) provided generous financial support for the project during 2015-2021. I designed an evidence-based program evaluation approach which took into account the complexity of the 11 programs of the Initiative. My team did a structured, qualitative document analysis, collected quantitative and qualitative data, and delivered a concise and clear report to the donors. The report was praised by the representatives of the involved international organizations.
